The Ex-Cadets Monument, inaugurated by Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau in 1977 on the 25th anniversary of the founding of CMR Saint-Jean, needed a facelift. After a major clean-up by the Corporation du Fort St-Jean, the 1969 entry class of CMR Saint-Jean raised $5,000 to complete the work by adding plaster.
