Located in the former Saint-Maurice chapel, the premises used as the officer-cadets' mess must be refurbished to better address their needs and allow them to meet in a pleasant location to exchange ideas, create relationships and strengthen camaraderie.
The purpose of the Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean Hall of Fame is to recognize potential laureates who have studied or worked at the College, as faculty or staff members, or who have made an outstanding contribution to the life of the College over the years since 1952.
The stained-glass window, made by a Saint-Jean local artist, represents the CMR crest.
Thanks to the funds raised by the 1968 entry class at CMR Saint-Jean, and with the help of the Corporation du Fort St-Jean, the renovated sundial was unveiled on October 31, 2018.
Thanks to the funds raised by the 1992 promotion class, a granite bench was offered on the banks of the Richelieu River, in front of the parade square.
The display honouring Mr. Jacques Castonguay, CMR Saint-Jean Rector from August 1, 1986 to August 4, 1989 and military historian, was unveiled on August 23, 2019 during the reunion weekend.
On August 16, 2017, a Vimy oak was planted. This tree was donated by the 1967 and 1973 graduating classes of the Royal Military College of Canada (Kingston). Two Vimy oak benches were also installed nearby, donated by the CMR Ex-Cadet Foundation.
It is with great pleasure that in April 2018, the Foundation assumed the cost of a plaque for the Jolliet Squadron, the most recent addition to the other squadrons already in place.
The class of 1969 raised the funds to change the plaster on the Ex-Cadets Monument.
As part of the 35th Anniversary of Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean, the CMR Ex-Cadet Foundation presented CMR with a monument to honour the Regimental Sergeant-Majors. The ceremony took place during the 1987 reunion weekend.
Thanks to the funds raised by the 1964 entry class at CMR Saint-Jean, and with the help of the Corporation du Fort St-Jean, the Fort Saint-Jean Museum has a square in the shape of the second French fort of 1748, just in front of the entrance.
In 2012, as part of CMR's 60th anniversary and at the request of LGen (retired), the Honourable Roméo Dallaire, that was unveiled the display honoring the College's first Commandant, Colonel Louis Marcellin Lahaie.
As part of CMR's 60th anniversary, the Fondation des ancien(ne)s du CMR Ex-Cadet Foundation and the Corporation du Fort St-Jean collaborated to make CMR's North Gate much more welcoming than before.
Each year, the Foundation offers financial support for the publication of the annual Officer-Cadet’s yearbook Le Défilé.
